Program "Support for Exporting Enterprises from Frontline Regions of Ukraine": Maintaining Hope Amidst War
Every day in the frontline regions of Ukraine — Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Kherson, Odessa and Mykolaiv regions — thousands of people wake up to the sounds of sirens and explosions. For them, war is not just headlines, but a harsh reality that threatens lives, homes and dreams. However, among the ruins and dangers, there are those who do not give up: small and medium-sized enterprises that, despite everything, continue to work, preserving jobs and supporting the country's economy. These heroic companies, operating in the zone of constant shelling and bombing, need our support. It is for them that the Program “Support for Enterprises of Exporters from the Frontline Regions of Ukraine” was created, initiated by the global platform All.Biz in partnership with the International Charitable Foundation for Technological Development of Ukraine. Program "Support for exporters from frontline regions of Ukraine", ініційовану глобальною платформою All.Biz у партнерстві з Міжнародним Благодійним Фондом Технологічного Розвитку України.
We appeal to everyone in our country and the international community to join this initiative and help preserve hope for those who hold the economic front of Ukraine.
Life and work under fire: The feat of Ukrainian entrepreneurs
In the frontline regions of Ukraine, where explosions ring out daily and infrastructure is destroyed, small and medium-sized businesses continue to operate. According to the Government of Ukraine, more than 180,000 companies operate in these zones, creating jobs for hundreds of thousands of people. These are bakeries that bake bread for local communities, factories that process agricultural products, and workshops that produce goods for export. Every day for these workers is a struggle not only for the survival of their businesses, but also for the preservation of normal life for their families and communities.
Why don't they stop? For many entrepreneurs, stopping production means not only a loss of income, but also the collapse of the only source of livelihood for their employees. In Kharkiv, where rockets are destroying houses, a local grain processing plant continues to operate, providing jobs for 50 families. In Zaporizhia, despite a power outage and the threat of shelling, a small cosmetic oil company is shipping its products to Europe, supporting the region's economy. These people believe in the future of Ukraine and are not ready to give their work and hope to the enemy.
Risks faced by businesses
Working in the frontline zone is a daily challenge, full of dangers and difficulties:
- Physical threat: Shelling and bombing threaten the lives of workers and destroy production facilities. In 2024 alone, dozens of enterprises in the Kharkiv and Zaporizhia regions suffered damage from missile strikes.
- Logistical obstacles: Destroyed roads, roadblocks, and unstable electricity supply complicate the delivery of raw materials and finished products.
- Financial difficulties: Due to the war, many companies have lost access to credit, and rising costs for energy and raw materials are reducing their competitiveness.
- Loss of markets: Traditional sales markets have undergone significant changes due to the war, and developing new markets requires resources that frontline companies often do not have.
These risks force businesses to balance on the edge of survival. However, stopping production is an inevitable disaster for local communities, as each closed business means the loss of dozens or hundreds of jobs, a worsening social situation, and a weakening economy.
Program: Hope through Export
To support these heroic enterprises, the global B2B platform AllBiz (http://www.all.biz) and the International Charitable Foundation for Technological Development of Ukraine (www.ukrainetechfund.org) launched Program "Support for exporters from frontline regions of Ukraine"The goal of the program is to provide 1,000 small and medium-sized enterprises from frontline regions with a chance to enter the global market, preserve jobs, and develop their businesses, despite the war.
What does the program offer?
- Free access to the All.Biz platformFree access to the All.Biz platform: Companies will receive annual access to the most powerful package, allowing them to list products in 26 languages and promote them in 88 countries to an audience of 25 million buyers.
- Technical support and consulting: Companies will receive assistance in creating profiles, optimizing offers, and finding international partners.
- Expansion of sales markets: The program will help companies enter new markets in Asia (India, Vietnam, etc.), Africa (South Africa, Nigeria, etc.), Latin America (Brazil, Mexico, etc.), and Europe.
Who can participate?
The program is open to enterprises from Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Kherson, Odessa and Mykolaiv regions that are engaged in wholesale trade or seek to develop exports. These are companies that process agricultural products, produce cosmetics, textiles, building materials or other goods with high added value.
"We see how enterprises in frontline regions demonstrate incredible resilience. Our goal is to give them a tool for survival and development. Exporting through All.Biz is a chance not only to preserve business, but also to show the world the strength of the Ukrainian spirit," notes Ivan Zakrevsky, CEO of All.Biz.
Why is this important?
Every company that continues to operate in the frontline zone is not only an economic contribution, but also a symbol of invincibility. These companies provide:
- Jobs:: In regions where unemployment is rising due to war, businesses are giving people a chance to support their families.
- Taxes: They support Ukraine's budget by financing the army and social programs.
- Hope: Their work shows that even in the darkest times, there is room for growth and belief in victory.
However, without support, these businesses may not survive. The loss of business in frontline regions will mean not only economic decline, but also a worsening humanitarian situation, increased migration, and weakened communities.
