The idea of Export Solidarity with Ukraine during martial law

Ukraine is currently at war with Russia, fighting not only for its territories, but also for political and economic freedom. Martial law has had a significant impact on Ukrainian business: many enterprises have been destroyed, relocated from dangerous or occupied regions to central and western regions, or forced to partially or completely suspend their activities. However, the Ukrainian economy continues to operate. Thousands of companies not only support production, but also actively seek opportunities to expand exports, using all available channels to find international partners.

However, in wartime conditions, businesses face a lack of working capital to promote products to world markets. The state, which usually supports export initiatives, currently does not have the resources to finance such projects. In response to these challenges, the International Charitable Foundation for Technological Development of Ukraine, in cooperation with the global B2B platform All.Biz, has developed a unique Export Solidarity with Ukraine program aimed at supporting Ukrainian exporters with the participation of friendly countries.

The main focus of the program is to attract charitable funds to finance export initiatives, which will contribute to the economic recovery of Ukraine and strengthen international cooperation.

Program goal

The goal of the program is to increase Ukraine's export potential through solidarity support of Ukrainian exporters by friendly countries using the capabilities of the global trading platform All.Biz. The program is designed not only to help Ukrainian enterprises enter new markets, but also to promote the economic development of the participating countries, creating mutually beneficial conditions for cooperation.

The essence of the project

The Export Solidarity Program with Ukraine is based on the principle of mutual support:

  1. Participation of friendly countries:
    • Each friendly country (state or non-state organizations, foundations, philanthropists) pays for annual Gold packages on the All.Biz platform for 1,000 of its exporting companies. The cost of one package is 2,000 US dollars, which in total is 2 million US dollars per country.
    • All.Biz provides maximum support and consultations for the effective placement of product catalogs of these companies for 12 months.
  2. Support for Ukrainian exporters:
    • For each company from a friendly country, All.Biz connects one Ukrainian company to the Gold package for free, giving it access to all the platform's tools for promotion in international markets.
    • Thus, Ukrainian companies receive solidarity support without the need to withdraw funds from circulation, which is critically important in times of war.

Program objectives

The program has ambitious but realistic goals that will contribute to Ukraine's economic recovery and its integration into the global economy:

  1. Export growth:
    • Within three post-war years, achieve an increase in exports of Ukrainian companies by 20–30% (or 10–20 billion US dollars in absolute terms) by doubling the number of exporters and expanding the geography of markets.
  2. Economic effect:
    • Create at least 20,000 new jobs by boosting export activities.
    • To ensure additional inflows of foreign exchange and taxes to the state budget due to increased export revenues.
  3. Popularization of the Ukrainian brand:
    • Through the media capabilities of All.Biz, organize advertising and information campaigns for the platform's multi-million audience to increase the recognition of Ukrainian products in the world and popularize the "Made in Ukraine" brand.

Economic feasibility

The program envisages connecting at least 30,000 Ukrainian companies to premium Gold packages on the All.Biz platform with the support of friendly countries. According to forecasts:

  • 80% (24,000 companies) will become active exporters, will restore or expand exports.
  • Job creation: The implementation of the project will create at least 24,000 new jobs.
  • Tax revenues: At least $60 million in payroll taxes will be paid to budgets at various levels.
  • Export revenue: The export volume of the involved companies could reach 16 billion US dollars in the first three years with the potential for further growth.

These indicators indicate the high economic feasibility of the project, which will contribute to the stabilization of the Ukrainian economy and its integration into world markets.

Project budget

The budget is formed by contributions from friendly countries that pay for Gold packages for their exporting companies. For each country:

  • Cost: $2,000 for a one-year Gold package.
  • Total budget: 2 млн доларів США за 1000 компаній. У разі залучення більшої кількості компаній бюджет може бути збільшено.
  • Agreement: An agreement is signed between the party from a friendly country (state, fund, sponsor, investor) and All.Biz on the provision of information services for exporting companies of both parties. Or an agreement is signed on the transfer of charitable funds to the Technological Development Fund of Ukraine for the implementation of this program

All funds raised will be used for advertising and information support for exporters from Ukraine and friendly countries. Since the project has a significant economic effect, the optimal sources of funding may be:

  • Direct state support for friendly countries.
  • Grant programs.
  • Non-refundable financial assistance from Ukrainian diasporas or organizations interested in supporting the Ukrainian economy.

Call to action

The Export Solidarity Program with Ukraine is a unique opportunity for friendly countries to support Ukrainian business in difficult times, while simultaneously receiving economic benefits from cooperation. The Technological Development Fund of Ukraine invites state and non-state structures that deal with exports, including ministries, charitable foundations, grant programs and philanthropists, to cooperate. Together we can not only restore Ukraine's economic potential, but also strengthen global economic cooperation.
